Alicia , Scholarship Recipient
Since the launch of the NK Ballet Foundation in 2016, many deserving students have been able to receive financial assistance and support in their ballet education.
One of the young recipients is Alicia, an exceptionally passionate and promising student who, since the age of 9, was travelling into London on a daily basis for classes at the Natalia Kremen Ballet School. It was with great delight that the foundation was able to offer her a full scholarship to help support her ballet education.
Under the direct guidance and mentorship of Ms Kremen for 5 years, Alicia not only competed at one of the most prestigious ballet competitions the Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) in Paris and Barcelona in 2019, she subsequently received a scholarship to enter a full-time placement at the Dutch National Ballet Academy (DNBA) in Amsterdam following a short-term scholarship placement. Our foundation’s commitment to supporting Alicia’s training includes covering her high accommodations costs.
Alicia is now in her final year.
